Rueda de Casino: 10 Partners in One Song

Picture a circle of couples dancing salsa. One of the dancers - the cantante or caller - shouts out figure names: “¡Dame!”, “¡Enchufla!”, “¡Setenta!”. The whole circle executes the same figure at the same time, and in most of them partners rotate. That is rueda de casino.

Why is it so much fun?

Do I need experience?

You need the basics of Cuban salsa - roughly 2-3 months of classes. From there, rueda is the best way to level up: it forces you to lead and follow cleanly, listen to the music and think fast.
